What certainly is most frustrating is this dude actually had the potential to be better than all our midfielders. JM was one of the standout players at the Euros and how much we paid he must be starting every match but JM is either mentally weak or came to the wrong club .

or he's off PEDs

I'd like to see him as a right side midfielder in 4-3-3, forget Candreva

That was the exact position he played with Portugal in the Euro’s, wasn’t it?

Looked to me like he was playing RCM in a 4-3-3/4-3-1-2 for the last ten minutes, and he of course looked better for it.

He is pretty shit anywhere he plays. You can excuse players like Borja when he is playing out of position or something but simply you cannot excuse a player like Joao Mario. Playing in his favourite position doesn't make him become stronger, improve his intelligence and make him more useful player than what he has been so far.

The guy is a complete trash. What a waste of money we have put in this guy.

Well seeing as we dropped 40m on him, it's best we find some use for him.

Yet we're asking him to play as a trequartista one day and as a DM the next!

Simple, play Joao Mario far away from opponents goal and Brozovic far away our own goal.

If those two are mixed then you begging for trouble.

When that happens against Chievo, the result were pretty good. But that's Chievo though, even Benevento beat them :awyeah:

He may not have scored or assisted much under Pioli but he definitely much more of an impact on games.

Well, it would be easier to shine among last season players than this season.

UK sauces,The Sun(lol) suggest that Jose Mou wants Joao Mario and is ready to offer 45mil for him, maybe even Mkhitaryan in the deal

Sure,sure...if it were true we would take the money in a micro second and run laughing with the book profit from the sale

He performs better when he comes off the bench like last night.

This is the best on-ball midfield we have had in ten years. Valero, Mario, Vecino, and even Gagliardini are all good on the ball, with Valero and Mario leaning towards very good. More worried about their defense than anything.

Keep the faith in Mario, please.

Damn, just saw your "Fuck Joao Mario". Seriously???

When we do sell this guy then every supporter who wanted him gone will be the same people who says "Oh no, another Coutinho, Kovacic blabla we let go".

Kovacic and Coutinho came here as teenagers and were still developing (like Karamoh right now). Joao Mario is now 25 years old and already well into his second year in Italy. You're all doing the same Kondogbia misconception. Mario and Kondogbia are in Icardi's age and should've developed by now into one of the best players nationalwise in their positions (like Icardi). They've failed for whatever reasons and they're too costly to have on the bench, so it's time to ship them far away from Inter.

I'm sorry what?

He isn't some youngster. This is a grown ass man that isn't anything like Coutinho or Kovacic. He is another Kondogbia and should be treated accordingly.
