Of course I'm happy and i did say it's great transfer. im just not excited as some are, as he is currently NOT as good as some claim he is, AND he may need some time to settle in Serie A. I hope fans are patient with him. He does have world class potential but there's also quite a work to be done.

yeah, and hes coming with extremely little game time this season and in really low confidence, we can't expect a footballing god to be arriving straight away, patience is key here!

shaqiri is a young player. he's 21, I believe? he was really hyped a few years ago when he first moved to Bayern as a 'new Robben', when he first came on our/my radar.

I dont know much of how he's done at Bayern, but with Robben and Ribery in the form they have been in the last few years, its no surprise he hasnt been given much time.

I'm pleased with this transfer, I hope he works out as well as I believe he can.

Nah, not negativelly :D I am thrilled with the transfer, i said it few days ago, him under 20 is a no brainer:D

Just saying that people need to expect little less, and also give the guy time. He is world class in the making, but he WILL need time, im sure of it.

Also, as an Inter fan, i've learner that everyone can be a flop, and everyone can surprise :D

still young. To be honest probably what we need - I dont tink we need more raw 21 year olds, someone at least a bit polished would be useful now.

Definitely. AND he also has some big team experience, even tho didn't play much. Not to mention some champions league experience, something most of players don't have.

apparently, from what I've read, he was very good under henyckes (however its spelt), and even outperformed robben and ribery for a while. but wasn't able to hold down a starting spot, no surprise being 21 in your debut year behind two of the worlds biggest stars. But under Guardiola he hasnt had much playing time and has actually been pretty poor. Apparently, more due to Pep's tactics, and the players low confidence.

This is one of the better days in recent memory being an Inter fan. To get him for that price is an absolute steal. Kovacic,Podolski,Shaq and Icardi will be fun to watch for the remainder of the season! Third place will be tough, but achievable with these guys spear-heading our attack! GRANDE SHAQIRI!!

well the last few players who failed under Guardiola did amazing at other clubs, so fingers crossed.

the crux will be utilising him properly, and if mancini is keen on a 4-2-3-1, we probbably will...

what i like is that he is a bit of a superstar in switzerland so it might help with reputation/profile
