Mexico still deserves an applause, what a great World Cup. So much Tequila Power. Unfortunate to be knocked out in ET.
Good luck to Netherlands for quarters, if everything goes according to plan they are in the semis.

And while we're at it, and everybody talking about make-up calls and such, just remember a Mexican players was kicked in the head in the pk box in the 1st half....yet nobody wants to talk about that.

10 years of FIFLOL, stop acting like crying babies please. At the end of the first half Moreno fouled Robben and it was 100% penalty. And we had two penalties against us vs. Spain and Australia that weren't penalties BY FAR
I haven't been this excited for a while tbh. Remember Dinamo Kiev-Inter in CL 2009/2010, it was a bit like that.
The BIGGEST respect for Dirk Kuijt btw. Not a big fan of him, but always works hard, never complains, plays where the coach needs him. Moreover he's become the seventh player to play at least 100 times for the Dutch NT, exactly seven years after he lost his dad. Grande Dirk!

Kuyt is one of my fav players, I always wished to see him at Inter since his early days at Liverpool, there was a thread here years ago about who do you wish to see at Inter and he was one of the few I wanted back then, people used to laugh at me for picking him :alone: his work rate is among the best Ive ever seen. fantastic player.

10 years of FIFPenalty or not, Marquez didn't need to do that. He's our most veteran player and looked like a noob with that mistake. Robben was surrounded by 3 players and already lost the ball so he decided to dive when he felt the contact. Penalty? Probably, a very harsh one, but could had been avoided.
Mexico lost the game when they decided to park the bus instead of keeping possession like they were doing. Gio substitution also affected our attack and we lost our chances to score more goals. Aquino should had substituted Peralta not Gio. Oh well...
